What is GC/MS Test and Why we need them?

Gas Chromatography with Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) is regarded as a "gold standard" used in confirmatory testing for essential oils. GC-MS is a method of separating the volatile compounds in essential oils into individual components and identifying each of these components and their percentages. The results are used by the sophisticated consumers of essential oils to detect any possible adulteration.

Every batch of oils that are distilled and marketed by AzRose are tested for purity by leading laboratories in Europe and in the U.S.A. More specifically, Currenta GmbH & Co. OHG in Germany and Essential Oil University in Indiana, USA.
